Re-Branding the Bayou
Bayou Preservation is a non-profit organization that works to protect, restore and celebrate Houston’s bayous and waterways. Through stewardship, leadership, education and outreach, the association helps to safeguard the richness and diversity of the Houston-Gulf Coast bayou systems. However, their website was outdated and their messaging lacking in focus. Tasked with raising awareness of the association and engaging more volunteers and supporters in the greater Houston area, eSiteful conceived and created an all-new website and brand logo that elevated the organization’s image while providing an immersive experience for visitors to the website.
Going deeper with messaging and visual content
To begin the re-branding process, eSiteful met with key Bayou Preservation employees and stakeholders to better define the target audiences and create the right messaging to reach these individuals. With the groundwork done, eSiteful created a new logo that visually communicated who the Bayou Preservation Association is, followed by the new website with simplified navigation that allows users to quickly find the information they need. Using photography of Houston’s bayous as well as the Bayou Preservation Association at work, the website portrays the BPA as a vibrant and active organization with a mission that affects everyone in the greater Houston region.
