Houston Community College Job Connections

Houston Community College (HCC) Job Connections is a job placement system that expands HCC’s job placement offices, providing self-service capability for employers, students and alumni.

Built on Microsoft .NET technology, the web application features a profile builder for applicants, a job management system for employers and full-text search capability. Built-in workflow management enables job placement staff to advise applicants and employers throughout the process, using an intuitive, internal messaging system.

Applicant self-signup verification is accomplished through a link to HCC's PeopleSoft database, verifying eligibility in real time. The system also contains a statistical reporting module for state and federal compliance.
